Conartia and Kinexon Sports partner with Maroussi BC

Conartia, the exclusive partner of KINEXON Sports and Media in Greece and Cyprus, one of the world's leading providers of sports performance tracking and analytics technology, is delighted to announce the launch of its partnership with Maroussi BC, a club with deep roots in Greek sport and a long-standing presence at the highest level of Greek basketball.

Founded in 1896, Maroussi is one of Greece's most historic sports clubs. The greatest achievement in its basketball history came in 2001, when it won the Saporta Cup in Warsaw with a 74-72 victory over Chalon. The club subsequently reached the Greek A1 League finals and competed in the EuroLeague, confirming its place among the teams that have made a distinctive mark on the history of Greek and European basketball.

Through its partnership with KINEXON Sports, Maroussi BC will deploy KINEXON PERFORM IMU, an advanced wearable system for monitoring and managing training load, designed to support the performance staff in their daily work. The system enables data collection across different training environments, including the court, gym, recovery sessions, and preparation in away-game settings, without requiring a fixed installation.

KINEXON PERFORM IMU enables the technical and performance staff to monitor training and game load metrics generated by specialized AI-powered basketball algorithms, both in real time and after practices and games have been completed. All data is synchronized with the KINEXON Sports platform, providing a comprehensive view for the analysis of training, recovery, and long-term athlete management.
