Conartia and Kinexon Sports partner with ARIS BC Midea

Conartia, exclusive partner of KINEXON Sports in Greece and Cyprus, one of the world’s leading providers of sports tracking and analytics technology, announces a new partnership with ARIS BC Midea, one of the most historic and successful basketball clubs in Europe.

ARIS BC Midea, a BKT Eurocup powerhouse, also known as the "Emperor" of Greek basketball, has a rich history dating back to 1922. The team has won 10 Greek Championships, 8 Greek Cups, and 3 European titles. Additionally, ARIS BC was instrumental in popularizing basketball in Greece in the 1980s, led by the legendary duo Nikos Galis – Panagiotis Giannakis.

The multi-year collaboration with KINEXON Sports will enable ARIS BC Midea to use KINEXON PERFORM IMU, a portable player training load monitoring and management system that uses advanced AI technology and inertia sensors (IMUs) to measure performance and load, providing accurate data on their movements and changes of direction. Additionally, the agreement includes the use of KINEXON COMPETE Vision, an analysis software that uses video recordings of training sessions and exclusive AI algorithms to automate shot tracking and performance analysis.

The club aims to utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance its competitive advantage, optimize the training of its athletes, and improve its injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
